How long have you been on DeviantArt? A little over a year.
What does your username mean? Myles Cougar is the name of my primary OC / fursona. He's essentially me personality-wise, just in caracal-cougar hybrid form. As far as the name's origin goes, I had a high school teacher and fellow churchgoer whose name was Miles, and I've always really loved that name. When I decided to make myself an OC for fun, I just switched up the spelling with it and went with that. As far as caracals and cougars go, I just feel like cats represent my personality really well. And big cats are freakin' legit haha
Describe yourself in three words. Goofy, caring idealist
Are you left or right handed? Choose the right
What was your first deviation? This...thing...: Relaxing . I haven't really gotten much better since then because I haven't put in the time, but I'd love to put in a lot more practice into drawing and painting when I have the time.
What is your favorite type of art to create? Music, absolutely!! I really love composing, remixing and rearranging things when I have the time.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? I can't pick one! In the world of music, I'd love to master analog modular synthesizers, scratching, or audio mastering. If I had to master a completely different art style (non-musical), then I'd love to gain a talent for expressive-yet-realistic animal art.
What was your first favorite? This weirdness haha... need I say more?
What type of art do you tend to favorite the most? I love art that has some kind of emotional connection to me in some way. Even if I don't click the "favorite" button, though, I really like art that plays with your heartstrings through sad emotions. A couple crying together, someone sacrificing themselves to save someone else, etc. Don't get me wrong, though- I LOVE happy art too!
Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist? I am beyond biased, but I also mean it sincerely- Tsebresos. I love her sense of anatomy, pose, motion, and expression. She has an incredible knack for taking something and making it look like someone or something else. Her art has significant meaning for us, and she does a good job of keeping certain things cryptic when they need to be
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? That's really hard to say, since I don't closely follow art and artists. I do think it'd be cool to meet LatinVixen, though, since I've always admired her costume work. As far as people I've met in person, that would be and probably a few people who have DA accounts I'm not aware of.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? I don't even need to think about this one- definitely Tsebresos. Funnily enough, it was her art that initially got us in contact with each other... and look where we are now!
What are your preferred tools to create art? My mixer, audio interface, keyboard, instruments, and some nice speakers. Visually speaking, however, I love using traditional media (especially Prismacolor markers and pencils) whenever I do try and draw art.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? For music, I've got to be next to my instruments and equipment at home to really do anything, but inspiration for music seems to come at the most random of times and places (like the shower or toilet haha). If I'm trying to draw, though, there's no better place than by Tes.
What is your favorite DeviantArt memory? All of them- my submissions, favorites, comments and so forth all remind me of situations, people, and further memories that are dear to me.
